Billy Bob Thornton is welcome back in Texas since his “Friday Nights” in 2006. The feel is Yellowstone and this is a welcome series with some reality as opposed to superheroes and fantasy. Based on the Permian Basin oil field, great cast so far!

We at Oilfield shake our heads at the inaccuracies of camp life and explosions/blasts. The technical glitches in the first three episodes are embarrassing and their technical advisor made a mistake at the explosion site. An old valve stuck, the 24″ pipe wrench (installed upside down) got hammered in near the top?
